For the second year running Charlotte is the most popular girls’ name. Isla moves up one place to second, Olivia climbs one place to third, and Amelia moves up two places to fourth. Harper falls three places to fifth. Ella is a new entry in the top ten, climbing five places to sixth. Isabella is also a new entry, moving up four places to seventh. Emily climbs two places to eighth. Ava drops four places to joint ninth with Mia, who falls two places. Mila and Sophie drop out of the top ten.
New entries in the top 100 names are Kiara (70th), Alexis (72nd), Ariana (74th), Cora (79th), Imogen (81st), Billie (82nd), Eliza (89th), Daisy (91st), Athena (joint 94th), Elsie (joint 94th) and Kaia (joint 99th).
The top three most popular boys’ names are unchanged, with Oliver in first place, Jack in second and Noah in third. Leo climbs seven places to fourth. George moves up two places to joint fifth with Hunter. William falls three places to seventh, and Lucas moves up one place to eighth. James falls three places to ninth and Mason drops two places to tenth. Arlo drops out of the top ten to eighteenth.
