The Social Security Administration has released baby names data for 2017 for Other U.S. Territories (total of American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands and U.S. Virgin Islands). Data is available for names with a count of five or more.
Amy and Olivia are the joint most popular female names in 2017. Sophia drops one place to third. Ava is a new entry in the top ten, climbing 19 places to joint fourth with Emma. Anna is in sixth place. Abigail, Emily and Mia are in joint seventh. In joint tenth are Annie, Charlotte, Isabella, Jasmine and Sarah. Amelia, Grace, Aria and Chloe drop out of the top ten.
Kevin climbs seventeen places to be the most popular boys’ name in 2017. Ethan moves up five places to second. Daniel drops from first place to joint third with William. Michael climbs ten places to fifth and Lucas moves up four places to sixth. In joint seventh place are Andy, Joshua, Liam and Logan. Jason, David, Elijah, Jayden, Aaron and Aiden drop out of the top ten.
